Posted Fri Dec 18, 2009 7:24 pm by dargonThis wintersday brings with it Costumes (http://www.guildwars.com/gameplay/loot_and_items/costumes/). One side effect of this is that old festival headgear has changed slightly. If you get a new copy of say your pumpkin head, it's now treated as a costume piece, and as such, rests on top of your normal head piece rather than replacing it. So for example, your Grenth Antlers which used to offer no armor, now act as if they have the armor of whatever headgear you're currently actually wearing. You just have to get a new copy of the head gear from the guy that makes them and you're golden.

Edited Dec 23 - New update yesterday, now you have to also enter the name of a character on the account your logging into (if the acct has no characters you leave it blank). A command line option has also been added to allow you to automate this. This change could indeed make accounts much more secure, unless of course you forget the names of your characters |
